People Making a Difference
Earl Middleton: Lead/Founding Pastor, CEO, CCO -- Earl Middleton spent 28 years discovering and developing his spiritual identity and power, and learning to lead others on a similar journey to spiritual self-discovery and success. Formal theological training at Princeton did not satisfy his curiosity about the relationship between the spirit and success in life. Forsaking the opiate of religion, and guided by the most powerful force in the universe, he is busy establishing a true community of faith for all people, where love is the only law, miracles are expected, lives are transformed, and success is routinely achieved through the grace and power of God in the name of Jesus Christ. visit Earl's web site
Joseph Mangham: Band Leader, KitchenSync -- Jman Jr. was born Joseph Mangham Jr. in a Cleveland, Ohio hospital, but raised in Montgomery, Alabama. He is a gifted musician who started out at an early age playing instruments and writing songs. During his grade school years, he impressed teachers, broke school records, and amazed audiences by playing at alarming speeds, ending up with a wall plastered with awards and about 10 instruments under his belt before finishing high school. In Montgomery, Joseph was also very involved in music at Christian Life Church, at times leading a 10 to 12 piece band in a congregation of 1500. At Christian Life Church, Joseph also wrote and arranged compositions for the church band and often spent time with church leaders.
After graduating high school, Joseph surprised everyone with his decision to go all the way to the other side of the United States and attend the University of Southern California. He felt that he did all that he could do in Montgomery, and that God had bigger, better things in store for him in Los Angeles. Joseph graduated from USC in 2006 with a B.S. in Music Industry, but during his time at USC, he picked up several other skills. He actually worked at the school for several years doing live audio for a wide range of events, mixing sound for students as well as celebrity performers. While at USC, Joseph also started a successful hip hop band, and a hip hop dance team, which became one of the most requested groups on campus, averaging a performance request per week. Joseph, however, stayed strong in the Lord while at college by being faithfully involved with Campus Crusade for Christ, the USC Gospel Choir, and finally finding his way to Food For Faith Fellowship.
Joseph is currently the musical director for Food For Faith’s Worship Team, KitchenSync. In addition, Joseph is also F4's worship technology director, which encompasses oversight of sound, lighting, and video technology at the church. Joseph’s vision for the worship ministry is an all around inviting experience for the congregation and more importantly, for God. This involves incorporation of performance, visual, and technical arts, giving God the best of our abilities in the worship setting. His experience in the performance world has really given him a deeper insight into all the tools and methods for worship. visit Joseph's web site
