Attire
Pastor Earl sets the tone for attire at Food for Faith. On any given Sunday you might find him in shorts, sandals and a t-shirt, black hi-top Nikes and an old New York Knicks jersey, pleated wool slacks and a Robert Graham shirt, or a tuxedo with a pair of Pro Keds. So, whatever you decide to wear, just as long as it covers appropriate amounts of skin, you'll pretty much fit in.
Children
PlayTime is the secure, exciting spiritual play ministry designed by F4 for children ages 1-11. Structured play supervised by trained, committed playground instructors helps children to master the spiritual virtues of sowing, reaping, love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faith, and self-control. A private nursery/lounge is available for infants 0-12 months and their parents to enjoy and participate in the worship service. Registration is required for PlayTime, and occurs at the guest check-in counter.
NotReligious Worship
Worship at Food for Faith includes energized music that meets worshipers in the outer court, moves them through the inner court, and deposits them in the holy of holies where the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit is expected. The word of God is taught with clarity, and an emphasis on relevance and practical application. Electronic media and fill-ins are utilized to further engage the whole person in the didactic experience. Got Questions? Immediate, burning questions can be text-messaged during the sermon to the pastor/teacher, who then weaves a response into the context of the lesson, insuring that you get the answers you need, when you need them, to empower you to do the word of God and see results.
Pneuma Cafe
Pneuma is the Greek word for 'spirit,' and highlights what is in copious supply in our lobby cafe. Open 1 hour before worship until 1 hour after the conclusion of worship, Pnuema Cafe is the place to be when you want to enjoy a cup of hi-end coffee, surf the internet on our complimentary wireless, hi-speed connection, participate in worship and study God's word in an ultra-relaxed atmosphere, or check out the big game on the big screen after worship. It's a great place to make a new friend in the spirit, or reconnect with an old one.
The Commons
Wanna hang out after worship and play some ping-pong, air hockey, pinball, or maybe some foosball? Then the Commons is where it's happening. Featuring a game room/arcade, big-screen and computer center, this is where complimentary refreshments (fruit, beverages, pastries, chips, etc) are served and table games (cards, dominoes, etc) are played every Sunday after worship.
EMM Resource Center
Faith comes by hearing and hearing... . The EMM Resource Center, located off the lobby, is commissioned to assist believers in rehearing the word of God, the biblical way to build faith. Audio, video, books, study aids, bibles, witnessing tools, gift items and clothing, EMM Resource Center is your partner in building your faith. As a first time guest you are entitled to one complimentary CD of the current teaching.
